These decisions are executed and fully discussed by parliament but they always need the Queen’s full permission and her signing off on such matters. Imagine being able to declare war, now that is some kind of responsibility.

This power means that the Queen is the legal guardian of all the children in the United Kingdom. Meaning, if she wanted to she could legally take away someone’s child. Although the Queen has never done this it’s pretty cool to kind of think that the Queen is your parent. Does this mean all individuals from the UK are actually royalty?
