Among all those splendid pieces of real estate in Beverly Hills, there is one particularly impressive home that has been deteriorating. The famous Hollywood director Vincente Minnelli and his family’s former mansion is now nothing more than a deserted estate in ruins. The unkempt garden and decaying walls are witnesses to the ugly legal battle that had diminished a once beautiful mansion to its sorry state.
From The Ground Up
In the mid-20th century, Vincente Minnelli started moving up the ladder in the film making industry by bringing in several classic musicals. One example is the 1951 film An American in Paris which eventually bagged the Academy Award for Best Picture. After seven years, that feat was replicated with his film Gigi which also earned him an award for Best Director.
