In general, the old country home is in a complete state of disorder. The more than dismal condition is evidence that no plans for any sort of restoration had been in place recently. Svenia Franklin revealed to The Oxford Mail in 2014 that the renovation of the property would go up into the millions. However, it seems like a leisure company called Darwin Escapes, which owns the golf course nearby, is trying to tackle the financial challenge.

Perhaps we’ll see it brought back to its greatness someday. The comments under Tepper’s video had similar thoughts. A message from a user named Wendy Cunningham’s reads, “Love this and hope they can rescue it somehow.” Another use, however, was less optimistic given the size of the mansion and said, “You’d rattle around a bit in a place that size.”
