Michelle Kwan had already begun being noticed and building her reputation within the figure skating world, after 3-4 years of hard work and practice. “At 12 years old, I was at the senior level, almost making it, and you know, so close to having my dreams come true,” Kwan said reminiscing over her preteen anxieties.
