Steve Francis

Steve Francis was the sort of player who looked like he might be a Hall of Famer in the future. He was quick and explosive on the court, making it hard to check him. He spent seven years in the NBA and got the Rookie of the Year Award and made 3 All-Star appearances. Unfortunately, there were many inner demons he needed to contend with. He fell out of the league when he was just 31 years old. After his stepfather died, he got depressed and ultimately started abusing alcohol. He looks very different from the way he used to and has been arrested several times for different crimes. In 2018, he wrote an essay that was published on The Players’ Tribune about his life problems. Two weeks after that, he got arrested for public intoxication in LA.

Hashem Thabeet

In 2009, the Memphis Grizzlies selected Hasheem Thabeet in the 2009 NBA Draft, with the second overall pick. There was so much attention over this and he has become one of the biggest busts in recent history, even though fans have no memory of him because of his lack of success in the past seven years. He has been out of the league for already four years now so it’s unlikely that he will be making a comeback.
