This talented point guard spent a successful 12 years in the NBA. The 7x All-Star baller earned six of these during his first nine years, when he was still playing for the Detroit Pistons. When he eventually left the court, the Pistons decided to honor Bing by retiring his jersey number: 21. After his retirement, he decided to work at a steel processing company. He eventually launched Bing Steel, his own company in the same industry. What’s even more impressive is the fact that he ran for the position of mayor of Detroit in 2009 and won! He was in office for four years before he stepped down in 2013.
