In Calistoga, there is a 10,000 square foot Tuscan Villa on 500 acres of land. This is formerly owned by none other than Joe Montana, who paid a cool $35 million for it. After living there for quite some time, he and his partner opted to sell it and move into a $2.3 million condo in the San Francisco Marina District instead.

James Harrison is another NFL star who once spent a lot of cash on a mansion where he and his wife lived. He shelled out $1.8 million on the Shadyside property built in 1994. There came a time when he wanted to make it modern, though he realized the costs to do that will be prohibitive. He ended up selling it, but we cannot wait to see what he buys next!
