The Colorado Springs Fire Department has 22 engine companies, 1 HazMat team, 3 medical squads, 1 Heavy HazMat team, and 6 truck companies. Besides that, they have 11 brush trucks for firefighting in wild land areas, 1 decontamination vehicle for hazardous materials, 1 air supply truck, and 1 hose wagon which can carry personnel and be dispatched to emergencies.
