Once the team had gotten the puppies out of the sewer, all safe and sound, the rescuers had to make sure that the babies were all healthy and okay. They went to a Humane Society to have the puppies looked at and to know if the babies were not hurt in any way.

Good News
Thankfully, the puppies were all in relatively good health. The babies did not appear malnourished, and they were strong. Having made sure the puppies were okay, the firefighters decided that their job was done.
