Massachusetts – 25.2% Obesity Rate
It was fortunate that the adult obesity rate in Massachusetts was starting to drop, and it showed that there was still hope for the state. But still, Massachusetts was holding a 25.2% obesity rate record for its population, which meant that it was still an issue that had to be resolved. Massachusetts began to implement programs to tackle the situation and started initiatives for drinking water, raising nutrition standards, balanced diet, exercise, and others.

Minnesota – 30.1% Obesity Rate
Minnesota had maintained the adult obesity rate within the state from 2018 to 2019. However, it was not deemed a good thing because, according to the Department of Health (DOH), the state had a staggering 30.1% obesity rate, and it meant that one out of three adults was obese. Minnesota was one of the states ranking lower than the national average for obesity statistics and was also lower than its neighbors.
