Connecticut – 29.1% Obesity Rate
One of the United States’ main health concerns would be the high obesity rates within the country, and one out of three adults were obese. Around twenty percent of Connecticut’s adults were reported not to have participated in any sort of physical exercise. It had also been reported that the percentage of adults eating vegetables regularly was 28.5%. It was apparent that the state should start taking action to improve Connecticut’s public health.

Guam – 33.6%
Thirty percent of Guam’s population was reported to be obese, proving that the number of overweight Guam adults had been steadily increasing. It was a threat to the state’s population. It had been acknowledged that sixty percent of Guam’s deaths were caused by chronic diseases correlated to low lifestyle and unbalanced diet. Most of the state’s deaths were caused by weight problems and obesity, to the point that it could be deemed a pandemic.
