Montana – 25.3% Obesity Rate
Montana’s obesity statistics had been the lowest during 2019, and the state ranked in sixth place when it came about low obesity rates. It was reported that Montana’s residents were 26% obese, and it was all thanks to the state programs. Some of the actions taken were the promotion of nutritious and unprocessed foods in schools and hospitals. Overall, it was apparent that Montana was handling the issue of improving the residents’ public health.
Utah – 25.3% Obesity Rate
Utah might have a lower obesity rate than the rest of the states, but obesity was still a significant issue in that area. Even though the residents were starting to become relatively healthy, most of them were gradually gaining weight. It was fortunate that the rate was not as high as the other states, and it was under the Trust for America’s Health Annual State of Obesity report.
