Good news, everyone! NBC has picked up New Amsterdam for a sophomore season. We can still count on Dr. Goodwin to make sure that patients get the care they deserve even if bureaucracy gets in the way.

A large ratings decrease during its Season 2 run was what caused the demise of Salvation. CBS decided it was time to say goodbye to this sci-fi series. In all fairness, at least it lived to see a second season.
