Larry Bird: Actor
The sixth overall pick in the 1978 draft was Larry Bird. His 13-year NBA career began and ended with the Boston Celtics. Following his retirement, Larry went on to star in a number of big-screen projects. In 1994, he starred in Blue Chips, and in 1996, he starred in Space Jam and Celtic Pride. Larry Bird, the alien in The Neighbors, was modeled after him.

Clyde Drexler: Real Estate Investor
Clyde Drexler spent 15 years in the NBA before retiring. Clyde “the Glide” was a 10-time All-Star and one of the NBA’s “50 Greatest Players.” Clyde began investing as a novice, focusing on real estate, and hasn’t looked back since. Despite the fact that he has pretty much retired from all work, he still manages the Drexler Holdings LLC downtown Houston office.
