John found something which could help in his backyard search immensely – municipal records of the area where he lived. He looked through the documents and finally found what he needed. In addition to a record about the house that was built, there was something else there. He found a document which stated that something was built there by the company Whitaker Pools in 1961. However, one thing did not add up – why was a swimming pool built underground?

John knew he needed to refocus his search, be more careful in going about it. Before, everything he did was only based on a hunch, but now that he had documentation, he wanted to do things in a smart way. Because of this, he hired consultants who used equipment like metal detectors and they all started to search the backyard together. Things were definitely starting to get serious. At first, they came up with nothing, but the detectors suddenly went off.
