Meet Rio
There are many dogs that happened to live in the family house. However, this Golden Retriever had a special spot in her heart. This story would not have happened without Rio, their beloved three-year-old pooch.
Meet Rio
Rio first gave birth to a litter of puppies about a year before this. Because of that, Louise thought she already knew what to expect this time around. There were no complications during the pregnancy or delivery, and she found that the puppies were in perfect condition that first time. This is the reason she thought the second litter would be exactly the same.
Zero Problems
After a rather quick delivery that lasted five hours, Rio gave birth to five adorable puppies during the first pregnancy. Louise and the rest of the family did not keep those puppies. They decided that it was better to sell them to other people interested in taking good care of them.

While it was hard to let go of the puppies, they understood that this was for the best. They realized that the puppies would flourish more in another setting by themselves. They had become used to this process over the years, which is why they did not expect what they found this time.
