Reba’s song finally hit the top spot! This happened after she released her fifth album called Unlimited in 1983. After realizing that she did not like how her current handler lacks creative control on her career and how they kept forcing her to make country-pop ballads, Reba left Mercury. A year after that, Reba signed a contract with MCA Nashville Records and released an album under them called Just a Little Love.
