Tucson is probably the most dangerous Arizona city, with 801 violent crimes for every 100,000 people, according to FBI Statistics – nearly double the state average. Aside from that, poverty levels are incredibly high in Tucson. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly 25% of people in Tucson live in poverty, which means it has the highest poverty rate of all the cities in the state.
