Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
The movie had this tagline: ‘This Time, it’s personal.’ Unfortunately, it also got a zero percent score on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics said it was ‘tension-free’ and ‘illogical.’ Aside from that, Entertainment Weekly called it one of the worst sequels ever. Michael Caine won the Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actor and said that it was ‘terrible.’ It took the crew less than a year to work on this, which explains things.
Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987)
The fourth installment of the franchise saw the Police Academy graduates training new recruits. The lowest-rated movie in the series, it also had the last appearance of Steve Guttenberg as Carey Mahoney. It bombed and failed to live up to the previous Police Academy titles. Critics said it was ‘utterly, completely, thoroughly and astonishingly unfunny.’ The Razzies nominated ‘Let’s Go to Heaven in My Car’ by Steven Wilson for Worst Original Song as well. It’s a good thing the other movies are better!
