Background
Kristina Rinaldi, the head of the no-kill shelter that housed Sir Wiggleton for all those months, went into his background in more detail. She explained that rescue workers work to collect dogs from Detroit Animal Control, and in one particular visit, they loaded 12 dogs into the van, and at full capacity, there was no more room for other dogs. A dog caught Kristina’s eye, and so she brought him into her own car and named him “Sir Wiggleton.”
A Hope
Why was he named ‘Sir Wiggleton’? Kristina said it was because of his “funky butt wiggle” he would show off when he was excited. After he received the necessary shots and medical treatments, he was more than happy to socialize with the other dogs in the no-kill shelter. Kristina said they often posted pictures of Sir Wiggleton on the shelter’s Facebook page, in hopes that somebody would adopt him.
