There were a lot of things regarding this fight that resulted in the Nasty Boys getting fired, so we will do our best to make things simple. Even though Nasty Boy Jerry Sags suffered a major neck injury, he was still forced to fight. He agreed to fight as long as his opponents would not come near his neck. However, during a match a couple of months later, he was hit in the neck by Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, so Jerry lost his temper and attacked Scott continuously with unscripted punches. The incident led to the firing of the Nasty Boys, but Hall and Nash did not get fired.

Shawn Michaels Versus Bret Hart

In 1997, tensions between these two wrestlers boiled over after they had unsatisfactory talks with Vince McMahon. For some reason, Hart thought that the best way to handle his frustration was to beat up Michaels, who got cornered in one of the changing rooms. Several wrestlers were needed to break up the brutal fight. Michaels was so upset that he was willing to quit WWE and go back to WCW and even stormed McMahon’s office to tell him. After having a leave of absence, Michaels came back to WWE the following July.
