It was already agreed that Luger would be the winner of the match, but Brody refused to accept it and decided to go off-script. The confused Luger became Brody’s victim and he was attacked with vicious moves. In fear, Luger climbed to get out of the cage, got his car keys, and decided to drive off without even showering.

When Women’s champion Mildred Burke and her promotion runner husband Billy Wolfe broke up, he gave June Byers the title. However, the women agreed to an unscripted fight so that they can settle their score. While Burke was confident that she would win, Byers worked quickly and attacked her opponent’s knee, which had been previously injured. Burke got trapped in a kneelock, with her leg getting dislocated, so the fight ended after half an hour and Byers won by points.
