Clean A Dirty Broom
It’s very easy to forget that brooms also need to be cleaned from time to time. So, every now and again, make sure that you give your broom a deep clean, otherwise, you’ll just be cleaning the floor with a dirty broom. To clean yours and strengthen the bristles, fill a bucket with hot salt water and soak the broom inside for approximately 30 minutes before taking it out. Then allow it to dry before taking an old cloth to rid any excess dirt or dust.
Stop Weeds From Growing Between Bricks & Gravel
Are weeds making your driveway or patio look untidy and somewhat grubby? Again, you just need salt to get rid of any unwanted or unnecessary weeds. Just add 1 cup of salt to 2 cups of water in a saucepan and bring it to the boil over the stove. Following that, pour it directly onto the weeds to kill them. After a few hours, you will be able to easily pull them or remove them. Alternatively, you can sprinkle some salt directly onto slabs just before it rains.
