Anna is now awaiting trial, but there is a Netflix series about her life in the works. A judge in the case has even mentioned that Anna seems more concerned about the person who will portray her than in showing remorse for her crimes. “This place is not that bad at all actually,” she has said about her time at Rikers. “People seem to think it’s horrible, but I see it as like, this sociological experiment.” Her lawyer even said that the young woman seems to be doing fine in prison!

When she tried to explain to people what the place she was being held in was really like, Anna said, “This place is not that bad at all actually. People seem to think it’s horrible, but I see it as like, this sociological experiment.” She kept going on to say that she often spends her free time people-watching inside. She continued by saying, “This one girl, she’s been stealing other people’s identities. I didn’t realize it was so easy.”
