Chelsea made it a point to emphasize the good manners that her daughter possesses. Karen’s daughter has been impolite on numerous occasions, and Karen has never called her attention to it. For example, when Chelsea’s son and Karen’s daughter are spending time together and Chelsea’s son isn’t having a good time while playing with Chelsea.

Another instance occurred in which Karen’s daughter pinched her son. Karen recalled, “And you’ve let your daughter pinch him before too because he wouldn’t share, but you never cared if she didn’t. I don’t think this is a healthy relationship for him or for me.” Even when they are young, children must demonstrate good manners to their elders.
