Jeff Van Gundy

Former Knicks and Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy now works as a commentator for ESPN. In 2001, his move to leave the New York Knicks came as a surprise since they were doing pretty well. He then went on to join ESPN as a commentator and then broadcaster. In the beginning, he called Spurs games as a guest analyst but became a regular thanks to his popularity with viewers. He earns $16 million a year.

Gus Johnson

Howard University alumnus Gus Johnson started out as a play-by-play analyst for the Big East Network and the Timberwolves. Aside from this, he called CFL games for ESPN and NFL games for CBS. Best known for his exciting calls and colorful catchphrases, he was a huge part of CBS from 1998 to 2010. He left the network after a contract dispute and joined Fox Sports Network to call for college sports. With Fox, he continues to be the play-by-play announcer for the Bucks. He makes $500k a year.
