He won just about all awards in the league before he retired in 2000. After this, he dabbled in NASCAR, Hollywood, and TV. Perhaps you remember him co-hosting The NFL Today for a while. He originally covered figure skating and MLB in the ‘60s before he moved on to cover the NFL for Fox. He later worked for TNT and TBS as well.
