Shannon Sharpe had been an NFL tight end before he went into announcing. The former Ravens and Broncos player hosted the show Skip & Shannon in the past. In 2011, he got inducted into the Football Hall of Fame and called games for CBS as Deion Sanders’ replacement. He worked as a commentator for The NFL Today, although Bart Scott later replaced him. He now hosts Opening Drive on CBS on top of his ESPN stint. His annual salary now rests on a cool $5 million.
Jim Durham
Jim Durham was dubbed the Voice of ESPN Radio because he called games for this station for 32 years! He used to be the play-by-play announcer during the days of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. He used to work for the local radio station WJBC and called Doug Collins’ games. Aside from basketball, Durham also called White Sox games in the MLB. These days, he has a yearly salary of $200k.
