Al McCoy has been called “The Voice of the Suns” in the past. He has the longest NBA caller tenure ever! His first job was as a local hot at KJFJ. In the ‘90s, he joined the broadcasting team for the Suns. His many catchphrases include “Wham Bam Slam!”, “Shazam!”, “Oh Brother!”, “Whammo!”, and “Heartbreak Hotel!” He is also responsible for a bunch of nicknames like Steve “The Nash Rambler” Nash, Jason “Captain Jason” Kidd, and Shawn “The Matrix” Marion. The WHO commentator makes $200k a year.
Bill Maas
Bill Maas got his start by playing tackle for the Packers and the Chiefs. He was with the latter from 1984 to 1992. At the moment, he works as a Fox Sports commentator as a host and studio anchor for NFL Games. He got into hot water with the law when he was just starting out, but he was able to bounce back in no time at all. He now has a yearly salary of around $100k.
