Bill “The Schonz” Schonely is a sportscaster known for doing the play-by-play calls for the Trail Blazers for almost three decades. Before this, he was in radio in Louisiana and Seattle. He has called MLB, minor league baseball, NHL, NCAA, and junior league ice hockey games. He called for the SuperSonics for radio before it disbanded as well. He coined “Have a knuckle sandwich”, you know. He makes $200k a year.
Dan Fouts
The former pro football player later found himself in broadcasting. He was with the Chargers from 1973 to 1998. The QB did not ever make it to the Super Bowl but got inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1993 anyway. He is a CBS color analyst who called play-by-play NFL games. He also called games radio for Westwood One. He makes $750k each year. How awesome must that be?!
