Avril Lavigne – Hockey
“Sk8er Boi” was one of Avril Lavigne’s biggest tracks, catapulting her to fame, and many people may be unaware that she was a skater girl. She said in an ESPN interview that her father had her on ice skates in the backyard when she was two years old. She was a right winger for the boys’ hockey league in high school and was voted MVP twice. Lavigne had to put her skates on hold after signing a music contract at 16. She became the “Pop Punk Queen” after releasing critically acclaimed albums. However, she admitted bringing her skates on tour to play street hockey.
Gwen Stefani – Swimming
Gwen Stefani became the lead singer and songwriter for No Doubt. They wrote the “Just a Girl” and “Spiderwebs” songs. During her vacation, Stefani established a solo career and gained equal success with her chart-topping singles “What You Waiting For?” and “Cool.” Stefani is lauded for her flair and beauty in addition to her singing. Her incredible body could also be attributed to her experience as a swimming team member at Loara High School in California. She is still known to swim regularly as part of her training program, according to Ocaquatics.
