Here is one more spectacular find. A family discovered a Norman Rockwell painting behind a fake wall in the Vermont house of their late father. He had a fake one on display so that his wife would not get the original one after the divorce. He never mentioned it, and it was sold for $15.4 million. Something similar happened in New York when a man found a $300 million painting by Michelangelo behind his couch. The artwork had been forgotten for 27 years before he stumbled upon it!
