Jessie looked for inspiration for her project from the documentary called Garbage Warrior. It explored alternative sustainable lifestyles. She wanted to adopt the model of the eco-architect Michael Reynolds. who used recycled materials to create a home. She only needed to find the right vehicle now.
Inspiration For The ProjectA Little Background
Garbage Warrior is a 2007 film centered on an architect name Mike Reynolds, who is the inventor of the Earthship style of building. The film follows Reynolds and how he developed the Earthship style of building as well as his struggle with the laws of Taos, New Mexico, the location of his experimental Earthship community, to change the building code. Everything is made from discarded materials, including tires and aluminum cans.
