The King’s Speech – Wrong Kilt
Colin Firth gained recognition all over the world after his amazing performance in the 2010 movie The King’s Speech. Firth played the role of England’s Prince Albert, who had a speech impediment. Since he became king, he needed to speak a lot but he struggled with the impediment. In one scene, the King can be seen wearing a kilt with an Irish design, though it should have been Scottish Balmoral.
Pride & Prejudice – No Rubber Boots Yet
This romantic drama based on a book stars Keira Knightley, who gave an excellent performance. This movie is based on the Jane Austen classic novel “Pride & Prejudice” published in 1813. The film shows Knightley’s character, Lizzie, wearing Wellies, or also known as rubber Wellington boots. This should have been impossible since rubber boots were invented 40 years after the time of the story.
