Glory – No Digital Watches Yet
The 1989 movie Glory stars Denzel Washington, Matthew Broderick, Cary Elwes and Morgan Freeman. Somehow, things got digital in this film that is set during the period of the American Civil War. Interestingly, in one scene, you can spot a soldier sporting a digital watch. In case you didn’t know, wristwatches were only created around the year 1923. Digital watches, on the other hand, only came into fashion in the ‘70s.

Public Enemies – Too Modern Robe
Johnny Depp’s character, John Dillinger, can be seen in the 2009 movie Public Enemies, sporting a sleek, modern robe which many of the judges at that time would not have been able to get their hands on. Since this movie is set during the Great Depression, a robe that is this nice is very unrealistic. Anyone would have found it extremely difficult to design and make such a nice, advanced robe which isn’t as heavy as those they were using at that time.
