The 2002 movie starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz is set in the 1800s. It is about the different New York gangs at the time. There is one scene in the film where you can see one firefighter wearing a modern uniform, something that was out of place for the time period.

My Girl – No Mood Rings Yet
In the 1991 movie My Girl starring Anna Chlumsky, the main character Vada, who was played by the actress, can be spotted wearing a mood ring. Even though that kinds of rings became trendy in 1975, the movie is actually set in 1972. It’s possible they were not in the mood to do a fact check.
