This disaster film was released in 2014 and is a collaboration between three countries: the U.S., Germany, and Canada. Perhaps this is the reason why some facts in the movie are not accurate. The film shows some generals wearing purple capes. However, at the time, the Emperor Nero punished anyone that wore purple with death.
