Lynn Collins, who played the Martian warrior Princess Dejah Thoris, admitted that her costume had been altered at her request. The original design wasn’t supposed to be as revealing, but when Collins tried her costume on, she thought its cut should be higher. Even though the altered costume became quite different from what the director wanted, the books which the movie is based on describe the outfits even skimpier.

Braveheart – The Premature Scottish Kilt
Who could forget this epic Oscar-winning war film? Mel Gibson stars in the 1995 movie Braveheart, one of the highly successful films back in the 90’s. The actor gave an excellent performance playing the role of a Scottish warrior named William Wallace. Even though the film is set in the 1200s, Gibson can be seen wearing a Scottish kilt, which were actually not worn by Scots until centuries later, in the 1500s.
