For almost 3 decades, Cleopatra ruled over Egypt. At 18 years old, she took over the throne with Ptolemy XIII, her brother. She got ran out of the country in 49 B.C. She was able to be reinstated with Ptolemy XIV, her other brother, thanks to Julius Caesar. The queen later gave birth to Ptolemy Caesar, who might be the child of her Roman ally. Ptolemy XIV later died, and she ruled Egypt with her son.
