An assistant to the President and counselor from 2018 to 2019, John DeStefano makes $179,700. In the past, he oversaw intergovernmental affairs. DeStefano entered the administration as the Director of Presidential Personnel but ended up leaving in May 2019 to become an adviser to the e-cigarette company Juul.
