Grooving And Moving
The picture below shows a woman in small heels, at a three-day festival even those get uncomfortable. She is dancing with not a care in the world whilst being photographed. Fashion, fun, and art all in one picture. This is what Woodstock was also about, about people expressing themselves and having a good time all together, as equals. Looks pretty fun and they definitely had the times of their lives.
Hitching A Ride
The atmosphere of unity continued after. These young men needed a ride back home, we have no doubt with all the cars and people leaving they definitely found a ride. This was the age of cardboard signs and “O’s” that were drawn out as peace signs. These men would have fully trusted someone from the festival or a passer by to catch a ride back with. This was the 60s.
