Free Food
People set up free food stations in some cases. However, the best untold story is that once food ran out people simply ate granola. The farm was incredibly hard to access, there was no electricity, no running water, and now no food. Vendors from near and far had asked to work with Woodstock but none had actually dealt with feeding so many people, food was overpriced but no one complained…until it ran out. The hippies were totally cool with eating granola anyway, it was all about the vibe.

Well, on the one hand, it’s super cool these kids can say their parents took them to a rock concert before they were even legal, and on the other hand these kids probably saw some crazy stuff at Woodstock. These two sleepy kids were done playing for the day, but how beautiful to see their moms holding them and watching the concert. This sends a message of just how inclusive the atmosphere was. These moms were definitely cool moms.
