NYC Celebrations
There were two major celebrations that took place in America. The first was the celebration of the victory over the Nazis in Europe. And the second would actually mark the end of World War II, in September 1945, when the Japanese surrendered aboard an American naval ship.

Queen Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth the Second led by example during World War II. She served her country as a driver and a mechanic during the war, and she even made sure to practice her shooting skills on the lawn of Buckingham Palace.
