“The Return of Swamp Thing” was a pretty bad movie, and most people will agree on that. Still it was Locklear’s acting that got the brunt of it. But she was strong and she took it in her stride and kept on moving forward.

She made enough progress over the years to be able to laugh off the ridiculous award she got for “The Return of Swamp Thing”. After getting an array of nominations, Locklear went on to win two of them, and they were good things. Heather picked up the awards for Best Actress and Favorite Teen Dream for her role as Amanda Woodward in “Melrose Place”.
