Melissa “Missy” Franklin
Melissa “Missy” Franklin is an American swimmer who won five gold medals and kept some records, some broken since. Melissa Franklin is only 17 years old when she started her career at the London Games 2012. She had a tough choice whether to represent both Canada or the U.S as she is a citizen in both countries. Franklin won four of her five Gold medals in her Olympic debut, snagging, which she won four of her five Olympics.

Janet Beth Evans was destined to do great things and was able to compete against her unorthodox swimming style from the beginning. This vast’ windmill ‘ style helped her to be a champion, although she was short for a swimmer. In the 1988 Olympics and the 1992 Games, Evans won two gold medals, strengthening her position in American swimming by defeating bigger competitors, who some have found themselves using illegal performance enhancers. Evans has since helped bring the Olympics back to the US, as the 2028 Games in Los Angeles will be held.
