Natalie Coughlin

Before she joined the Olympics, Natalie Coughlin was the NCAA champion, and she shone at the 2004 Athens Olympics by winning two U.S. gold medals. She is the first woman to swim in less than a minute for a 100-meter backstroke race, an achievement at the following Beijing Olympics.
