DeeDee Trotter
De’Hashia Tonnek “DeeDee” Trotter used to be a well-known track and field athlete. She got her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics from the Women’s 4 × 400 meters relay. At the 2012 Summer Olympics that took place in London, she won a total of two medals from the Women’s 4 × 400 meters relay and the Women’s 4 × 400-meter run. After her retirement, she found herself a career as a motivational speaker. She also started working for Education First as their ambassador.
Lauryn Williams
Bobsleighing is a sport where teams of athletes use a bobsleigh to race and do their best to reach the finish line first. Lauryn Williams is a well-known bobsledder, but before engaging in the mentioned sport, she used to be a professional sprinter and competed in different competitions all around the world. At the 2004 Summer Olympics, she won a silver medal in the Women’s 100 meters. In the same event, she won a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
