Jean-Claude Killy
In the ski sport and all over the world, Jean – Claude Killy, French skier, has made a name for himself. In the Olympic Winter 1968, Killy competed and won three gold medals, making him the French skier with the most achievement. The athlete tied the knot with Danielle Gaubert, the late French actress. They even had a daughter together. Killy even adopted two children from a previous marriage of his deceased wife. Killy made two television series, with the exception of his exceptional ski career. Killy also continues his work as a member of the International Olympic Committee but he told John Fry in Ski that he thinks it’s time for him to retire and enjoy his time in private.
Charles Barkley
Basketball enthusiasts most certainly would include Charles Barkley with the NBA, in which they may possibly not know he is an Olympic gold medalist as well. In 1992 and 1996 he played for the United States team – winning in both competitions. In 1993, Barkley was the MVP of the NBA and in 2000 he retired. Barkley built a reputation for himself as being one of the best basketball broadcast analysts. He has written several books since his retirement and has shown a political interest.
