Sergey Bubka

In 1988, Sergey Bubka took home Olympic gold as the Ukrainian pole vaulter from the Soviet Union. All through his career, he achieved the same outstanding results and broke the world record 35 times. In 2012, Bubka was inducted as an official member of the International Association of Athletics Federations Hall of Fame and was named Athlete of the Year by Track & Field news twice. He had become President of the International Athletics Federations since his retirement. He is also an Honorary Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), having been involved since 1996.

Andre Agassi

Andre Agassi, Tennis legend and Olympian, have had good days and bad days throughout his 20-year-old career. Agassi is a Grand Slam champion eight times in singles and he has won first place in the Olympic Games. Not only is he known for his expertise in tennis, but he is also famous for his audacious fashion sense. In 2003, Agassi decided to retire, and with Steffi Graf, his former tennis player wife, they spent a life away from the competitive tournaments. He is considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time by numerous sources. Agassi has also been called one of the greatest service returners ever to play the game, and was described by the BBC upon his retirement as “perhaps the biggest worldwide star in the sport’s history”.
