Rulon Gardner
During his career, Rulon Gardner, former American wrestler, achieved great things. He competed in the heavyweight category, winning a gold medal in the 2000 games to beat Aleksandr Karelin from Russia. In 2004, he won bronze and was unbeaten in an international competition for 13 years. Gardner’s life was difficult and challenging and his inspiring speeches were based on his personal experience. The separation with his friend, and after slipping through ice on a frozen river also overcoming being pierced by an arrow were some of the hardships he faced through most of his life. Now that’s a tough life!

Kerri Walsh Jennings
Thanks to her hard work and dedication, Kerri Walsh Jennings is one of the most successful beach volleyball players in the United States of America. She has won three gold medals and her long-term volleyball partner, Misty May-Treanor, they are also better remembered for the bond they happen to share. From 2004 to 2016, the team competed together in four Olympic Games. Jennings also had posed and shown on the reality TV, Celebrity Wife Swap, aside from her volleyball career.
